Though the indigenous landscape was hard to settle, man has gradually remodeled it adapting the nature to his needs in the course of centuries. Instead, a harmonious tune between nature and humankind was achieved. An admirable perceptiveness and common sense of ancestors gave rise to a landscape that has attained both the diversity and balance, typical features for Trebon landscape of our days.

On one of the cold weekend of winter, we felt there was no better way to spend a relaxing weekend than on the Chateau Cechtice, 40 miles south-east from Prague. We left Prague in our small car Fiat Panda. We were four girls of all ages and one dog Max. A great combination.

ImageThe Olympic Winter Games 2006 will be held in Italy in charming city of Turin from 10 to 26 February 2006. Seven different sports will be presented on the Winter Olympic Games: Biathlon, Bobsleigh, Curling, Ice Hockey, Luge, Skating, Skiing and 15 disciplines : Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Bobsleigh, Cross-country Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Freestyle Skiing, Ice Hockey,  Luge,  Nordic Combined, Short Track Speed Skating,  Skeleton,  Ski Jumping,  Snowboard, and Speed Skating. The sport’s discipline will be played out in eight different sites: Bardonecchia, Pinerolo, Pragelato, Cesana-Pariol, Cesana-San Sicario, Sauze d'Oulx, Sestriere, Torino. Around 2,500 athletes, housed in 3 Olympic Villages (Torino, Bardonecchia, and Sestriere) will jockey for 84 medals.
