Meda found the ideal place for a complete and different holiday any time of the year, the island Tenerife. With an exceptional climate and luxurious nature, full of contrasts and paradisiacal sites, the kindness and hospitality of the people being one of the most important attractions for the tourist and Meda also. Anchored in a privileged point of the Atlantic Ocean, Tenerife is one of the favored destinations of European tourists. Modern, cosmopolitan and at the same time, traditional and authentic, Tenerife is a dream for those who look for the sun, peace, amusements, sports, relax and nature.
 | | Meda approaching Tenerife | Over the Tropic of Cancer and opposite to the Western coast of Africa lies Tenerife, the largest island of the Canary Archipelago. | | Meda in cockpit | The varied landscape of Tenerife offers a series of contrasts and attractions which have made Tenerife one of the most important destinations for international tourists, primarily from Europe.
Meda knows that it is always springtime in Tenerife, always nice weather. Tenerife’s special situation and the incidence of a number of favorable factors, such as the constant caress of the Westerly winds, keep the mean temperature mild and most agreeable through all the year. It is not cold in the winter; it is not hot in the summer. Throughout the four seasons the thermometer usually oscillates between 20 °C (68°F) and 24 °C (75°F), | | Orotava Valley | while the sea’s temperature is very similar. Meda recommends the bathing in the sea from summer to late November when the temperature of the Atlantic Ocean is about 23 °C (73°F). The Meda’s favorite beach is Las Teresitas, a few miles from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, | | Meda and Teide with snow | the capital city. In winter it is perfectly possible to have a refreshing swim in the Atlantic Ocean or in the pool of a hotel and then go up to the volcano of Teide and play in the snow.
